Man Shot, Killed In Bryan County Home

DURANT, Oklahoma -

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) have joined the Bryan County Sheriff's Office to investigate a homicide near Durant, Oklahoma.

Steve Weger, 58, was found dead Tuesday night at his home in the southern part of the county near The Peanut Shoppe off Highway 69/75. OSBI agents say he was shot to death at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Authorities have not arrested anyone, but they have identified the shooter. The person's name has not been released, and OSBI has not revealed what led to the shooting.
