Oklahoma City police officers arrested a man Saturday night accused of attacking a nightclub bouncer and biting him on the face.

Police responded to a call at Club Candy in Bricktown at 12:30 a.m. Witnesses told officers 25-year-old Mitchell Mai had to be escorted out of the club after he grabbed a woman and rubbed her in a lewd manner.

Michael Gurley, the victim, said as he and the other bouncers escorted Mai out, he became aggressive. Gurley said he and Mai fell on the ground, and that's when Mai bit him on the cheek. Another bouncer pulled Mai away and said the suspect punched him in the face.

In the police report, an officer noted the bite on Gurley's cheek appeared to be severe and may have "permanently disfigured" the bouncer.

Officers arrested Mai on complaints of assault and battery, maiming, and sexual battery. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
