Kevin Durant walked the red carpet in downtown Oklahoma City, Sunday evening, to promote his new movie Thunderstruck.

In the film Durant plays himself, but loses his basketball skills and inherits the un-coordination of an unlikely fan.

Governor Mary Fallin, Coach Scott Brooks, Wanda Pratt and Taylor Gray all attended the Sunday premiere at Bricktown's Harkins Cinema.

Fallin credits Oklahoma's generous film credits for bringing "Thunderstruck" here and says Oklahoma is a great place to shoot a film.

The PG-rated film opens nationwide August 24.
