Bands Rock Brady District To Raise Funds For Mannford Wildfire Victims

A number of bands jammed Thursday night in downtown's Brady District, all to raise funds for the victims of the wildfires in Mannford.

The concert organizer, Shila Garner, was born and raised there and just knew she had to do something.

"There are so few people there that you know everyone that was affected by it, Garner said. "So, it touched my heart to help everybody there out and get a little money together and fix those kids."

Garner said she was overwhelmed by the number of people willing to help.

She said so many bands volunteered to play, that she actually had to turn some away.
