Law enforcement officers seize slot machines at four bars in Enid.

On Wednesday, August 15, officers served four search warrants at The Captain's Quarters, at 224 W. Broadway, BG's 26th Street Bar at 802 N. 26th Street, Ma & Pa's at 408 N. Independence and Shooters Saloon at 1416 N. Grand Avenue.

Police seized 25 slot machines and approximately $7226.00 in cash. After receiving several citizen complaints about the gaming machines, the Narcotics Division of the Enid Police Department conducted a short undercover investigation of the local bars. They found the gaming machines were being used for illegal gambling.

"We have been to a couple of these bars for the same thing in the past," said Sgt. Eric Reddick with the Enid Police Department. "Nearly every machine was being played in one of the bars when we served the search warrant."

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Garfield County Sheriff's Office assisted in serving the search warrants. Charges are pending.
