A Garvin County judge denies bond for a man accused of killing his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend then chopping up the body.

Justin Hammer, 30, is accused of killing Brandon Duran after the two argued. Investigators say Hammer cut Duran's body into pieces with a saw, placed the body parts in several five-gallon buckets, and then threw the buckets into a pond.

Tuesday, Hammer's attorney requested his bond be lowered from $2 million. The judge refused and ordered the Elmore City man held without bond.

Hammer has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
