The Oklahoma State men's basketball team continued their foreign tour with an 86-81 victory over Barcelona select Sunday evening.

Markel Brown led the Cowboys with 22 points and 10 rebounds, including a key three pointer 45 seconds remaining to put Oklahoma State ahead to stay.

The select team added several players after Friday's 23-point loss to OSU, and it made a difference in the competitiveness of the Barcelona team.

Brian Williams scored 18 points and chipped in six rebounds and four steals. Le'Bryan Nash added 16 points, and freshman Marcus Smart added six assists, four rebounds, and four steals for the Cowboys.

It was a tight game throughout, until the Cowboys stretched an 11-point third quarter lead to 12 with just over nine minutes remaining in the contest.

However, the select team battled back, taking an 80-79 lead with a minute and a half to go, setting up Brown's key plays down the stretch.

The Cowboys will travel to Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, and play their next game Tuesday night against the CB Gran Canaria U20 team at 7 p.m. local time (1 p.m. CST).
