BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

A Broken Arrow woman is being held on a $25,000 bond after reportedly taking a bite out of a man's ear. Broken Arrow police say 46-year-old Lecia Cooley was the "dominant aggressor" in a fight that included the family dog.

She was arrested on a complaint of maiming (mayhem), according to jail records.

Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of West Atlanta Street at 10:18 p.m. for a domestic disturbance.

They found an adult male victim who had a "large portion of his right earlobe missing, bruising to his face consistent with a hard punch, and various lacerations from both the family dog and Ms. Cooley," the arresting officer states.

Both Cooley and the man admitted she bit his ear, according to arrest records.

The officer said Cooley also had some small puncture wounds consistent with bites from the family dog but no immediate signs of human injury.

She was missing part of her right canine tooth that police believe she lost while biting the man's ear.
