Tulsa Police arrested an 18-year-old man after he broke into a woman's home and hid in her attic early Friday morning.

Police recognized Jeremy Thomas, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, inside the OSU Medical Center.

As officers attempted to arrest him, he ran outside and stole a car.

Thomas led officers on a short chase which ended when police use "stop sticks" to puncture the tires.

He jumped out of the car and kicked in the back door of a home near Queen and Denver.  The noise woke up the woman who lives there and she ran outside calling for help.

Tulsa Police entered the home and arrested Thomas.

The woman was not injured.

Police say the owner of the car declined to press charges.

Thomas was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first degree burglary and eluding.

The outstanding warrant was a robbery with firearm charge stemming from an incident in mid-May in which police say he used a rifle to rob a woman of her cell phone.
