The need is so great after wildfires burned through 58,500 acres of Creek County land and property, and the outpouring of support so overwhelming, that the Red Cross has been forced to move into a bigger building.

"We just kept having more and more agencies want to come and have a table and visit with people today, so we needed to accommodate that," said Red Cross Site Director Wendy Stobbe.

Folks needing to find out about help available to them should head to the First United Methodist Church at 100 East Greenwood in Mannford.

It'll be open from noon to seven through Sunday.

The Red Cross distribution center is still located at Lake Church.

Volunteers say they've received so many donations, they just can't take anymore things.

They are, however, still accepting cash. You can donate by visiting www.redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
