Your 2 Cents: 'Man Up' Post On Facebook

I asked last night ‘Where are the gentlemen who should be holding the door for ladies, and giving up their seats for ladies and older people in waiting areas? What happened to simple chivalry?'

Verna from Del City first: "A couple of years ago I became a truck driver and haven't had to touch a door since.  This is where all the gentlemen are!"

Warren in OKC says: "I have 2 boy's 9 & 10. We went to the dentist office the other day and my 2 boys got up and let these two ladies have their seats. I thought that was so sweet."

Marilyn writes: "A man is never more "manly" than when he shows how much he cares about someone else."

From Dean in Oklahoma City: "It is about time for someone to tell these "clods" about using common courtesy."

Greg in Norman: "I was called a chauvinist by a woman for whom I was holding a door recently."

Jade writes: "My mom and I moved here...because when we visited my cousin 16 years ago in Midwest City, two young men about ten years old held the door for us at Braum's."

Finally Alice from Oklahoma City says: "I am a 65 year mature lady and the other day I was entering a building. As I opened the door, a man of about 40 hesitated so slightly before coming through the door and thanking ME!! Unbelievable."
