Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who threw hot coffee on a convenience store clerk after the clerk told him it was too late to purchase beer.

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who threw hot coffee on a convenience store clerk after the clerk told him it was too late to purchase beer.

Officers responded to the incident at about 2:30 a.m. on July 17, at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store, located at 2323 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Oklahoma City.

According to the victim, the man wanted to purchase a 24 oz coffee and an 18-pack Miller Light beer. However, when the victim told the man it was too late to purchase beer, the man became upset and threw his coffee at him.

The victim said the coffee landed on his chest. He refused treatment from EMSA, police said.

The suspect then left the store with another man. The victim said the other man had already paid for his items. Both men left in a silver, 4-door, Ford car with a bike rack, and traveled south on Penn. Avenue, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male who is about 25 to 30 years old. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a baseball cap, a black t-shirt, and shorts. Police say he had a goatee.

The other man is described as a white male about 25 to 30 years old. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds as well. Police say he was wearing a red t-shirt, jeans, and had dreadlocks.
