PAYNE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An Oklahoma State basketball player pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor drug charges Monday.

Philip Bernard Jurick, 22, was arrested Saturday night in Stillwater. He was charged Monday with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

Jurick plays center on the OSU Cowboys basketball team. He is a senior.

According to court documents, Jurick was also charged back in May with driving under suspension, also a misdemeanor.

He was scheduled to appear in a Payne County district court for that matter on August 20. Now, he'll add two new charges to the docket for that date.
