On November 9th, 2011, a 'Good Samaritan' stopped to help a stranger change a tire and ended up changing Tyler Ryan's life forever. But now he is needing help.
Tyler did not have insurance at the time of the accident to cover the incredibly high medical costs incurred as a result of this horrific accident. Tyler lost his left leg above the knee and a myriad of other injuries.
Tyler will require a new prosthetic leg every three to five years for the rest of his life. The current cost to replace his leg is approximately $65,000.00, and with no insurance, this cost will be borne by Tyler and his family. This is the reason for the creation of a fundraising golf tournament.
Steve Carson and Lincoln Park Golf Course are hosting the event on September 14, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.
