OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) crews are working to repair a gas line cut by a private contractor in northwest Oklahoma City.

The contractor accidentally cut the three-inch gas line just before noon while using a trenching machine near N.W. 122nd Street and Indian Creek Boulevard.

Oklahoma City firefighters and a hazmat team were called out to the scene. They evacuated a nearby apartment complex with six units. No one was hurt.

ONG crews don't know how long it will take to repair the line.
