A judge continued sentencing for a former Western Heights High School softball coach who secretly recorded video of girls in their locker room.

Michael Hestand was scheduled to be sentenced Monday, but that sentencing was rescheduled for August 9. Hestand pleaded guilty in June to recording the girls while they dressed and undressed. Police arrested Hestand in December of 2010 after they found a camera belonging to Hestand in the locker room.

Hestand was the girls' softball coach for nearly four years. The superintendent of Western Heights Public Schools said Hestand was fired in December of 2009 after adult pornography was found on his computer at school. Months later, the new softball coach discovered the hidden camera and several videotapes.

Police say during their investigation, they found child pornography on Hestand's home computer, including pictures taken with a cell phone.

Hestand could be sentenced to life in prison.
