TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A police chase that started near Mannford ended more than 30 minutes later when a pickup overturned and the driver was ejected, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Christopher Allen Fargo, 25, of Sand Springs, was admitted to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition with head, arm and trunk injuries.

The OHP collision report said Fargo led five agencies – OHP, Tulsa police, Mannford police, Sand Springs police and Tulsa County deputies – on a chase down Coyote Trail Road (West 41 Street).

During the chase, Fargo stopped to let out his girlfriend, then continued the chase, troopers said.

Fargo eventually crashed the 2001 Chevrolet pickup he was driving at 41st Street and 177th West Avenue in Tulsa County.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck, OHP said.
