Two Injured In Crash Involving Fire Truck In Southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Two people were rushed to the hospital after a fire truck collided with a car in southwest Oklahoma City Monday evening.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at around 8 p.m. Monday, in the area of S.W. 44th Street and Independence Avenue in Oklahoma City.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, one person in the car was transported to the hospital in emergency situation. The other one was transported in non-emergency situation.

The firefighters in the fire truck were not injured.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this point.
