Oklahoma City's offense came back after a few off nights but the defense … not so much.

The RedHawks got blistered by Memphis 24-7 on Sunday night; that after losing the first two games of the four-game series by a combined 14-3.

The Oklahoma City pitching staff got torched by the Redbirds, beginning with starter Paul Clemens. Clemens was pulled after giving up eight runs and 10 hits in just three innings.

But that was only the beginning of the problems on the mound, where the RedHawks used six pitchers in all. Clemens was relieved by Adalberto Flores but he lasted just 0.2 innings after getting crushed for two grand slams in the bottom of the fourth inning.

OKC's Jordan Kreke was the only RedHawk pitcher not to surrender a run after pitching the eighth inning.

The RedHawks' scoring was highlighted by two solo home runs, the first by Travis Buck and the second by Brad Snyder.

Memphis scored 24 runs on 24 hits. OKC had 14 hits.

The two teams wrap up the series on Monday at 7:05 p.m.
