A deputy leaving the Santa Fe South Schools' campus in Oklahoma City initiates a pursuit after nearly being hit by another driver.
The driver is identified as 40-year-old Nathaniel Sims. According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, the deputy briefly chased Sims after the near collision. Within a few seconds, Sims lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a vacant mobile home at the corner of S.E. 56th Street and South Shields in Oklahoma City.
Deputies said Sims took off on foot, but was eventually arrested after a 10 minute foot pursuit. Sims was driving with a suspended license and will now face several more complaints including eluding a deputy.
