NORMAN, Oklahoma -

A 75-year-old woman died in Norman Wednesday, four days after a family member accidentally hit her with a car.

On Friday, July 13, the driver was backing out of a driveway at a home in the 2800 block of Dalewood Terrace in Norman. Police say their initial investigation shows the driver didn't see Chong Dorman behind the vehicle, and struck her.

Dorman fell and hit her head on the concrete. She was rushed to OU Medical Center where she remained in critical condition until she died on July 17. The driver of the car was not hurt.

Norman police are still investigating the incident.
