OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are investigating the shooting death of a 17 year old at an apartment complex at S.W. 38th and Portland.
Neighbors called police to the Portland House apartments around 6:40 a.m. Monday after hearing multiple gunshots. Police say Homero Macias was shot, then collapsed and died in a courtyard.
Police have roped off the area and are questioning potential witnesses. Neighbors told detectives the complex is a high crime and drug trafficking area.
Police do not yet have any information about a possible suspect. This is Oklahoma City's 51st homicide of the year.
