Broken Arrow Woman Arrested In Husband's Stabbing Death

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

Broken Arrow police arrested a woman in the stabbing death of her husband. Elizabeth Marie Beltran, 31, is in Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of second-degree murder.

Police responded to the couple's home in the 1100 block of North Hickory Court at about 8 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found Alexander Beltran Jr. face down in a bedroom.

Alexander Beltran, 32, was pronounced dead at 8:18 p.m. He was stabbed in the stomach and on the left side of his chest, according to Broken Arrow Police.

The arresting officer says that they found Elizabeth Beltran sitting in a lawn chair in the garage.

Two witnesses at the scene said they heard the couple fighting and tried to break up the fight.
