Crews Battling Grass Fire South Of Norman

Crews are responding to a grass fire at Interstate 35 and state highway 9 Friday afternoon.

Fire crews from Norman, Newcastle and Goldsby are all on scene battling the blaze as plumes of smoke fill the air around the area.

It is now known what sparked the fire, Norman officials say the fire is not very big and have since called back some of their responding units.
