A man was arrested early Friday after tapping on the wrong window at an apartment complex.

Tulsa Police found Deangelo Furch, 24, asleep in his car with a gun on his lap when they arrived at the Autumn Ridge Apartments, 1707 South Memorial, at about 5:15 a.m.

A woman living at the apartments called police to say a suspicious man woke her by knocking on her window.

Officers found Furch, who matched the suspect's description, asleep in a car parked in the complex.  They say he had a semi-automatic pistol on his lap.

Officers woke Furch and he told them he came to see his girlfriend and tapped on the window trying to wake her.  Policed say he had the wrong apartment.

Police learned Furch is a convicted felony, so they arrested him for possession of a firearm after conviction of a felony.
