Police Investigate Embezzlement At Edmond Church

EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Police are investigating a case of embezzlement at an Edmond Church.

Officers say someone embezzled more than $109,000 from Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.

The church says it hired an independent firm to review church records which confirmed an employee had misused money.

The church filed a police report, and would not comment on the investigation.
