Jury selection in the rape case against Darrell Williams is underway in Payne County. This coming after a recent two-month delay, and more than a year and a half since the allegations first surfaced.

Two woman say 22-year old Darrell Williams groped them at an off-campus party in December 2010. Prosecutors charged Williams last February with four felony counts of rape by instrumentation and one count of sexual battery, all stemming from the alleged attack.

The suspended OSU basketball starter denies the allegations and pleaded not guilty to all counts. He was suspended from the team indefinitely after being charged in February of last year.

Stillwater Police were first tipped off by an anonymous letter outlining the alleged attack at a house near the Oklahoma State University campus during a party. The women say Williams and a friend attacked them in the basement and front yard of the house.

Lawyers began questioning potential jurors from the pool this morning. They will resume the selection process on Tuesday.

Williams' trial was scheduled to start in April but his lawyer requested a postponement because of a family emergency.
