On Monday, police arrested a 19-year-old after finding his 15-year-old girlfriend dead inside an apartment in Warr Acres.

Charles Sykes had nothing to say to our cameras as officers led him into the Oklahoma County jail. But it turns out Sykes told his mother and investigators the whole story.

After police received the 911 call from Charles Sykes mother, investigators report the mother and her son. met officers outside the apartment at Westgate Crossing.

Court records show while 'shaking his head,' Charles Sykes admitted to choking his 15-year-old girlfriend, Raeviana Satterfield, at around 3 a.m. on Monday.

Police were notified five hours later.

The report shows Sykes told investigators they were 'arguing and fighting' when he put Satterfield in a 'headlock chokehold' and applied pressure until she stopped struggling.

The document then details what happened after Sykes' realized she was dead,' he wrapped 'Satterfield in bed sheets' and 'placed her in the bathtub' until his mother came home.

Police booked Sykes into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first degree murder.

Sykes is scheduled to be arraigned in court this Thursday.
