OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man accused of a brutal rape made his first appearance in court on Tuesday.

A judge set Patrick Garnette's bond at $200,000. The victim told police Garnette taped up her hands and feet and held her for several hours.

The victim said Garnette sexually assaulted her and broke several of her teeth with a pair of pliers.

Police arrested 20-year-old Patrick Garnette on several complaints, including rape, forcible oral sodomy, domestic assault and battery, kidnapping and maiming.

Prosecutors have not filed formal charges in the case.
