There will be a lot of crimson and cream amongst the red, white, and blue of the U.S. Olympic team in London.

The University of Oklahoma had five current or former men's gymnasts competing at the U.S. Olympic Trials in San Jose, and all five of them will be going to London as part of the men's gymnastics team.

Jonathan Horton and Jake Dalton were selected to be a part of the five-man squad, while Chris Brooks, Steven Legendre, and Alex Naddour were named as the three alternates.

The top two spots on the five-man team are automatic berths, while the men's gymnastics committee selects the remaining three spots, plus three alternates for the team.

The committee factors both the preliminary and final rounds of the Visa Championships, held in June, into the decision for the other team members in addition to the Olympic Trials.

Danell Leyva and John Orozco claimed the top two spots for the team. Sam Mikulak of the University of Michigan claimed the fifth spot on the roster.

For Horton, this is his second Olympics. He won the silver medal on high bar in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and won a bronze medal in the team competition.

This is the Olympic debut for the rest of the former Sooners, while Dalton is the second Sooner to compete in the Olympics while still in school. Dalton will be a senior in the fall.
