DELAWARE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A man from Jay, Oklahoma, was killed after he crashed his four-wheeler on a county road in Delaware County Saturday night.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday, on a county road about four and a half miles north and eight and a half miles west of Jay.

An Artic Cat 4-wheeler driven by 48-year-old Leslie Shaw was eastbound on a county road when it ran off the roadway and struck a tree, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report.

Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk internal injuries. He was transported by Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home to Grove.

A passenger on the four-wheeler, 39-year-old Colisa Keely, was transported to the hospital with trunk internal and leg injuries. She was treated and released.

Troopers listed the Shaw's condition at the time of the collision as "unknown." The cause of the collision was listed as "unsafe speed on a curve" in the OHP collision report.
