CORDELL, Oklahoma -

Fire officials in Cordell are urging residents to conserve water after four mains broke Friday.

Fire Chief Paul Norris says resident should conserve as much water as possible while crews work to fix the breaks, because all the water they have is what is in the towers.

There is not a boil order in effect at this time. However, all outdoor watering is banned until further notice.

Repair crews hope to have the problem fixed over the weekend.
