Crash Knocks Power Pole Into Road Near Downtown OKC

Part of Classen Drive from Reno to N.W. 3rd Street was closed briefly Friday morning after a car crashed into a utility pole and split it in half.

The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. A driver said another car cut him off, causing him to swerve into the pole. Police, firefighters and EMSA crews rushed to the scene. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.

The crash did not cause any major power outages in the area.
