Edmond Police Arrest Man In Possible Hate Crime Attack On Kids

EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Edmond police arrest a man for trying to run over and attack four kids Wednesday night near Santa Fe High School.

James Brian Roper, 31, was arrested on a complaint of assault and battery but has since been released.

Right now, the Oklahoma County District Attorney is deciding whether or not to charge Roper with a hate crime. Roper is white and has a swastika tattoo on his stomach.

The kids he allegedly targeted were black.
