If you live in Oklahoma City and recycle, you could be rewarded for it!

The city is once again offering its Blue Bin Instant Win contest to all Oklahoma City residents who recycle. During the contest, each week for 52 weeks, one lucky customer could win a $100 Visa gift card. All you have to do is properly fill up and set out your little blue recycling bin.

The contest begins on July 1. No entry forms are required to participate. Oklahoma City customers are already entered in the contest if they 1) receive utility bills from the City of Oklahoma and 2) are eligible to participate in the Curbside Recycling Program.

Each week, one customer's name will be electronically and randomly drawn from the Utility Customer Service data base. If that customer set out a Little Blue bin for collection that week, and it contains acceptable recyclables, then that customer will win a $100 Visa gift card.

If the person whose card is drawn does not properly fill and set out a Little Blue recycling bin that week, the $100 Visa gift card will roll to the next week, giving the next customer a chance to win two $100 Visa gift cards, and so on.

If the customer is declared a weekly winner, a hangtag will be left on the door. The hangtag can be redeemed for a $100 Visa gift card(s) at the Utility Customer Service Center at 420 W. Main, first floor.

Winners should keep up the recycling because it's possible to win more than once. Names will stay in the electronic "hopper" until the contest ends in May 2012.
