Today the U.S. Supreme Court struck down three-fourths of Arizona's illegal immigration law, but left the key provision in place.

It says police officers must make a reasonable attempt to determine the immigration status of a person who's detained or arrested if there's reasonable suspicion that person is in the country illegally.

This is the most important segment to most supporters of the law, and the most dangerous to opponents, the one they fear will lead to racial profiling.

I hope it doesn't... but can you blame Arizona for forcing the issue?

Their borders are being overrun and the Federal Government is doing next to nothing to stop it.

It's estimated there are 360-thousand illegal immigrants in Arizona.. that's almost the size of the entire city of Tulsa.

And it's putting an incredible strain on law enforcement, medical care, the education system for all of those people Hispanic and non-Hispanic who are there legally paying for those services.

Infuriating for the court to step in and basically admit, we know the Feds aren't doing their job, not enforcing our immigration laws, but you can't either no matter how much damage it does to your state.
