The Oklahoma City RedHawks continued to struggle Monday, falling to the Omaha Storm Chasers 7-4, dropping their second consecutive game in the four-game series after the Storm Chasers drummed up some late offense.

Omaha jumped out to a 4-0 lead early, thanks to a pair of home runs from Anthony Seratelli – a two-run shot in the top of the second and a solo shot in the top of the fourth – and an RBI single from Tony Abreu. However, Oklahoma City cut the lead in half in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a two-run double from Brett Wallace.

However, the Storm Chasers got some big offense in the top of the ninth for some breathing room. Jason Bourgeois drew a walk and Johnny Giavotella tripled in the next at-bat to push the lead to 5-2. Two at-bats later, Clint Robinson homered to center field to score two and extend the advantage to five.

Scott Moore and Mike Hessman did their best to close the gap for Oklahoma City, starting the ninth off with back-to-back home runs, but Omaha retired three of the next four batters to end the game.

Nathan Adcock (4-2) picked up a win for the outing, giving up two earned runs on four hits and striking out three in his six innings of service. Brian Bass (1-2) pitched six innings for Oklahoma City, but came away with a loss after giving up four runs on nine hits.

Oklahoma City will try to avoid dropping three consecutive in an early matchup, closing out the series at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday.
