Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been found guilty of 45 of 48 counts of child sexual abuse and now faces a maximum sentence of 442 years in prison. The judge also revoked his bail.

Jurors began deliberations Thursday afternoon before reaching their verdict around 9 p.m. Friday.

Sandusky, 68, was at the center of child sex abuse investigation involving 10 boys over a 15 year time frame. When his trial began on June 11, Sandusky faced 48 counts of alleged sexual abuse involving young boys.

During the trial, one of Sandusky's adopted sons, Matt Sandusky, also alleged that he was sexually abused.

Several Penn State school officials lost their jobs because of the scandal, but none larger than former head coach Joe Paterno.

Paterno passed away on January 22, 2012.

Sentencing will not take place for another 90 days. Until then Sandusky will remain locked up in a Pennsylvania county jail.
