The truck rammed into her home, just feet away from the bed she
was lying in with her 5-year-old son.
"We were laying in the bed and it was almost like you could feel
the impact, even though we weren't hurt or anything like that," said
Kimber. "It was very scary, very scary to be woken up like that. So I just
grabbed my cell phone, grabbed my son and called 911."
But Kimber was too afraid to go outside until officers got to the
scene. Police say she did the right thing.
"[I] stayed on the phone with them until the cops came and had him
in handcuffs and then I came out," Kimber told News 9.
Officers arrested 32-year-old Brian Cline for driving under the
Influence.
"I know he was drinking. I'm sure many people have done this, but I'm
just glad he's ok," Kimber said.
Police say Cline refused to take a breathalyzer test.
