Firefighters Battle House Fire In NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Firefighters were called out to battle a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City Sunday evening.

The fire broke out around 7:30 tonight in the Quail Creek subdivision off May Avenue. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames.

The homeowner told firefighters they had been cooking out in the back of the house, which is where the fire started, but an official cause is not known at this time.

No one was hurt.
