OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thunder fans are gearing up to watch the big game! For many people, that means from the comfort of their own couches.

But several Oklahoma City businesses are holding Thunder Watch Parties Sunday night, including Remington Park, where families can come out and cheer on the team in true "Thunder Alley" fashion.

"It's not too party, not too crazy, but we like to have a great time," said Alexis Zeigler with Remington Park.

Since the option to watch Thunder home games went away downtown, place like Remington Park, opened its doors to Thunder fans. Even for the away games, folks can come out to the Plaza area at the park, bring some chairs or blankets and watch the game on the biggest high definition big screen in the state, measuring three stories high.

"It's a really great alternative for people who are looking to come out to watch the game, kind of get that home feel of being there at the game, the community feel," Zeigler said.

Concessions will be available for purchase, the kids can play basketball in the Winner's Circle and the park will give out a couple of dozen T-shirts. The watch parties will continue through the finals.

"As long as the Thunder and Heat are still going, we're still gonna go too," Zeigler said.

The watch party at Remington park is free and open to the public. Doors will open one hour before tip-off. You can bring chairs and blankets but no outside food or drink.
