Prison officials are searching for a man who escaped Thursday from a minimum security unit at Mack Alford Correctional Center in Stringtown.

The prison noticed Jeffrey Craft, 43, was missing during a routine count. It's not known yet how he escaped. Craft is serving a 20-year sentence for a burglary conviction in Oklahoma County.

Authorities say Craft should be considered armed and dangerous. He's 5 feet 9 inches tall and 185 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing gray pants, a t-shirt and a gray baseball cap.

Craft has a tattoo of a cow skull and an Indian head on his right arm. He also has a cow skull on his left arm, and a tattoo on his shoulder of the back of a shield.

If you see Craft, call 911.
