The Oklahoma City RedHawks opened a four-game home stand against Round Rock with a big 10-6 win behind a big performance by Brandon Barnes.

The OKC center fielder went 3-for-5 at the plate with four RBI on the night. The RedHawks as a team tallied 14 hits to Round Rock's seven and even when the game got close, OKC capitalized on two errors to seal the win.

Barnes wasted no time getting things started with a leadoff double to left. Two batters later, Scott Moore sent a grounder to right to score Barnes and take a 1-0 lead.

The second frame was even more productive for the RedHawks than the first. With two on and one out, Barnes' firepower continued when he blasted a home run to left scoring three and putting OKC in control at 4-0.

Round Walk quickly loaded the bases thanks to two singles and a walk. That set up Yangervis Solarte who sent a sacrifice fly to center scoring Brad Nelson to cut the score to 4-1.

Oklahoma City didn't let up thought. Jimmy Paredes started off the fifth with a hit that made its way to center field for a double. A passed ball allowed Peredes to advance to third, putting him in scoring position as Scott Moore stepped to the plate. Moore made contact sending a ground ball to right to bring in Paredes and extend the RedHawks lead to 5-1.

Barnes notched his third hit of the ninth in the sixth to score Jake Goebbert making it 6-1. With two outs and three runners on, Oklahoma City's Mike Hessman singled to score two runs increasing the lead to an 8-1 margin.

Round Rock found rhythm and got back into the game thanks to productive innings in the seventh and eighth.

OKC changed out pitchers brining in Jonnathan Aristil to replace Adalberto Flores. Round Rock's Luis Hernandez sent a fly ball to center for a single, and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Leonys Martin followed with his fifth home run to the season on a shot to left cutting the RedHawks lead to 8-3.

In the eighth, OKC got a quick strikeout, but then walked Michael Bianucci. Dusty Brown followed with a single before OKC let another walk to Julio Borbon load the bases. The RedHawks brought in Enerio Del Rosario replacing Aristil. Luis Hernandez stuck with a line drive single to left scoring Bianucci, then Martin grounded out but still scored Dusty Brown. Finally, Brad Nelson also knocked a single , this time to right that scored Julio Borbon to cut the lead to 8-6.

The RedHawks went on to capitalize on two Round Rock errors in the ninth seal the win. With J.B. shuck up to bat, the bases loaded and two outs, a passed ball by Express' Dusty Brown allowed brad Snyder to score. Shuck was still at the plate when a wild pitch by Neal Cotts allowed Angel Sanchez to score making it 10-6.
