Truck Crashes Into Tree In Mustang

MUSTANG, Oklahoma -

Three people were injured Wednesday night when a truck smashed into a tree near Morgan Road and Longview Wednesday night.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. The truck careened into a power pole before hitting the tree. The collision knocked out power to more than 100 customers. Crews restored power within a few hours.

Mustang police confirmed three people were in the vehicle. According to police scanner traffic, at least one person was flown to the hospital by Mediflight. The extent of their injuries is not known.

Police are investigating to determine what caused the crash.
