The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reopened Interstate 40 in Canadian County Wednesday morning after a collision between a tractor-trailer and recreational vehicle shut down the eastbound lanes.

The collision happened just after 4 a.m. west of El Reno. No one was hurt. The semi was carrying produce, but none of it spilled onto the roadway. However, some fuel did leak from the vehicle.

It took crews several hours to clear away the wreckage and the fuel. The eastbound lanes reopened around 8:15 a.m.

It's not known what caused the crash. OHP is investigating.
