OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma City worker is recovering Tuesday morning after his street sweeper crashed into a tree.

Police say the man was driving the sweeper around 12:30 a.m. when he missed his exit near Interstate 35 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike. The driver swerved to try to make the exit, lost control and hit a tree.

The driver's injuries are not life threatening and he will be okay.
