For the second game in a row, the New Orleans Zephyrs put together a stunning ninth inning to down the Oklahoma City RedHawks.

In Monday's contest, OKC held a 3-2 advantage entering the bottom of the ninth.

OKC's Jose Valdez replaced Juan Abreau on the bump for the final inning and after one strikeout, Bryan Petersen managed a double for the Zephyrs. A flyout notched the second out of the inning, but Scott Cousins connected on a single that kept the game going moving Petersen to third for New Orleans. After a quick visit to the mound OKC elected to intentionally walk Mike Cervenak with two outs brining up Nick Green. Two pitches later, Green smacked a sharp line drive to left, scoring Peterson and Cousins for the go ahead runs downing OKC 4-3.

OKC paced the contest for much of the night scoring one run in the third when Brandon Barnes hit a sacrifice fly to right scoring Carlos Corporan from third. The RedHawks added another run in the fifth as Angel Sanches hit a long ball to left field for his fourth home run of the year.

In the sixth frame, New Orleans came alive and drove in two runs. The first came when Mike Cervenak doubled down the right field line scoring Scott Cousins. Nick Green then stepped up and lined one to right scoring Cervenak to tie the game 2-2.

Oklahoma City's went ahead in the eighth off another Barnes single that plated Corporan to put the RedHawks back on top 3-2, but it didn't last for long.

The Zephyrs mounted their big ninth inning to seal the win for its second straight victory.

New Orleans Starter Tom Koehler went seven innings allowing four hits while striking out six. Rob Delaney picked up the win with one inning of relief for the Zephyrs.

Oklahoma City is now 38-26 on the year and the two teams tangle again on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
