OKC 'Chalk The Walk' Aims To Prevent Child Abuse, Domestic Violence

The "Chalk the Walk" chalk art festival will take place on Saturday, June 16 in downtown Oklahoma City.

Hosted by the Parents Assistance Center, the "Chalk the Walk" event aims at preventing child abuse, neglect and other family violence.

The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, at the south parking lot at Bass Pro Shop in Bricktown. It will cost $5 for a family to participate.

Chalk arts created by artists of all ages and experience will be displayed at the festival. Organizers will also provide food and music, and families can participate in several fun activities.

You can also create your own sidewalk chalk art for $20.
