Spencer police canceled an Amber Alert after a 2-year-old child who was taken in a carjacking was located.

Police say the vehicle was stolen at gunpoint at 11:30 p.m. Friday, in the 2900 block of Paxton Place in Spencer. Two-year-old Taleah Hill was in the vehicle when it was stolen.

The girl was found safe Saturday morning and was unharmed. She is reunited with her parents and is being checked out at a local hospital, police say.

The vehicle is described as a black 2004 Chevy Trailblazer with an Oklahoma license plate 496FYO. It has been located as well, according to police.

Two-year-old Taleah Hill is home safe with her mother and family in Spencer. An Amber Alert was issued for the toddler around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Spencer police say the baby girl was kidnapped via carjacking by a man with a gun who's still on the loose.

Grandma Lena Hill was getting home at 11:15 p.m. Friday with groceries and little granddaughter Taleah. Police say a man put a gun to the grandma's face and told her to go inside her house, and then drove off with the SUV and the baby.

Amber Alert stated Taleah was in the back of the car, but Spencer police tell us the 2-year-old was in the front seat.

Police Chief Virgil Green says the guy had to know he was kidnapping a toddler, too and they are asking for the public's help to get him off the streets.

Police say this is a quiet neighborhood and they believe it was a random target.

The grandma's stolen SUV was recovered near N.E. 36th and Prospect. Chief Virgil Green says Taleah was found on a doorstep in Oklahoma City. Chief Green says the toddler wasn't crying and didn't seem hurt at the time she was found, and a neighbor called police after seeing her and not knowing who she belonged to.

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies also started their investigation in the case.

Police are still looking for the suspect in this case, who is described as a black male standing 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black t-shirt and blue bandana. He is light-skinned and is about 18 to 25 years old.

Police say the suspect was armed with an semi automatic hand gun.
