OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police have released the name of one of the victims killed Thursday night in a double shooting at an apartment complex near N.E. 36th Street and N. Kelley Avenue.

Israel Jackson, 24, and a woman were shot around 9:30 p.m. at the Sooner Haven apartments at 1308 Garland Drive. Jackson died at the scene. The woman was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where she died.

Police have not released her name because they're still trying to notify her family.

Police said some sort of altercation led up to the shootings. Multiple suspects then ran from the scene and escaped by car. No one is in custody and police have not released any descriptions of possible suspects.

Police said there were several witnesses who left before speaking with investigators. They are encouraging anyone with information about the case to call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
